How to read it. The size is the waist you wear. The garment waist is cut 1 inch larger so it sits comfortably. Waist and hip are all the way around; thigh and bottom are across, laid flat. The relaxed fit uses the same waist and inseam as this chart and sits looser through the thigh and leg.
Best way to pick. Take a pair you already like the fit of, measure the waistband end to end and double it, then match the closest row.
- Waist: around the natural waistline, where you wear your jeans.
- Hip: around the fullest part of the seat.
- Inseam: from the crotch seam straight down to the hem.
