How to read it. The size is the waist you wear. The garment waist is cut 1 inch larger so it sits comfortably. Waist and hip are all the way around; thigh and bottom are across, laid flat.
Best way to pick. Take a pair you already like the fit of, measure the waistband end to end and double it, then match the closest row. Denim gives a little with wear; if you are between sizes, take the smaller one.
- Waist: around the natural waistline, where you wear your jeans.
- Hip: around the fullest part of the seat.
- Inseam: from the crotch seam straight down to the hem.
